NEWS – Anime streaming site, AnimeLab, posted an english-subtitled trailer for the anime series, Sword Oratoria: Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Side Story. This is an anime adaptation of the DanMachi spin-off light novel series of the same name.
The anime series will have a twelve episode cour and it will premiere on April the 14th. Sentai Filmworks has just licensed the anime series in the United States and will be simulcasted in Amazon‘s Anime Strike streaming first on the day of its release.

Ais Wallenstein’s life changed forever on the fateful day she met Bell Cranel, but while Bell’s story launched him into his future, her story sends her deeper into her past. Within the dungeon’s treacherous depths, Ais and the other members of the Loki Familia encounter an irregularity that could threaten not just their party, but their entire world.
Youhei Suzuki (The “Hentai” Prince and the Stony Cat) will be taking over as the anime series’ director. Staff returning from the original anime series are writer Hideki Shirane (Shakugan no Shana, Hayate the Combat Butler), character designer Shigeki Kimoto (Azumanga Daioh, A Certain Magical Index), and music composer Keiji Inai (Btoom!). Yuki Iguchi will be returning to sing the anime’s opening theme song, and Kano is performing the ending theme song.
Yen Press is releasing this spin-off light novel series and its manga adaptation in English, as well as the original series Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
