A look into Attack on Titan’s ending theme

ANIME, DISCUSSION – If you have followed through the second season of the Attack on Titan series, the ending theme and its animation visuals are full of references but for us, viewers, we have little to no clue as to what they represent. I’ll be going detail-by-detail of what I think about the ending theme’s visuals and make sense of it all.

Androids in a fictional setting compared to reality

GAMING, DISCUSSION – Throughout the first few weeks of this month, I spent most of my downtime watching playthroughs of the Nier: Automata game from different Youtube gaming personalities. As I watched, the idea of androids came up to me and how they were portrayed differently from what professionals in the real world think of it.

What makes an anime OP/ED great?

ANIME, FEATURED – In almost every anime series, the episode starts with an opening music theme with a short animation – usually spanning a minute or so. An ending music theme is also played along with the credits of an episode. It is because of the times which these themes are shown that make them so important.

30 Day Anime Challenge – Day 30

Day 30: An Anime I wished never ended and continued on

Just like any other anime series, this anime challenge is at its last “episode” (heh) and somehow it just doesn’t seem fair. There are multiple shows which ended abruptly with open endings which can lead to a sequel or just ended right then and there because of either budget, time, or not much of the source material left.

Day 21: Favorite Goofy Anime Character

Humor is a necessity in every medium to make sure that your target audience is entertained. In anime, the whole thing shouldn’t focus on the nit and grit. There should be some sort of character to set the seriousness level down a notch to accommodate to the viewer’s entertainment.

30 Day Anime Challenge – Day 19

Day 19: Most Epic Scene Ever

Since I don’t have an abundance of shonen anime series to watch, I am lacking in terms of choices for the “most epic scene ever.” I think I’ll chose something that’s pretty much common and the basis for all sorts of fantasy-set fight/battle scenes.

Sword Art Online is out of the question.

Review – Koe no Katchi (Silent Voice)

REVIEW – I knew about Koe no Katachi when it was posted by a Facebook page with the description along the words of “tearjerker, beautiful” and what not. The post featured the first few pages of the manga and it was an emotional read. After finishing it’s last manga volume, Kyoto Animation has taken up the job of turning it into an anime film and this article will be my thoughts after watching it.

Spoiler-alert.
