30 Day Anime Challenge – Day 30

Day 30: An Anime I wished never ended and continued on

Just like any other anime series, this anime challenge is at its last “episode” (heh) and somehow it just doesn’t seem fair. There are multiple shows which ended abruptly with open endings which can lead to a sequel or just ended right then and there because of either budget, time, or not much of the source material left.

Day 29: Anime I wished was real

Anime, manga, light novels and other similar mediums take pride in exploring the fantasies of the human mind. In this case, there’s a spice of Japanese culture and fascination. I think there’s one anime series in particular that I would wish was real.

Day 28: Favorite Quote from any Anime Character

Quotes can affect us in many different ways. Some people use it as to motivate themselves while others use it as part of their life philosophy. I could categorize myself as the second type of people when it comes to this quote.

Day 27: Most Badass Scene From Any Anime Character

What makes something badass? That’s a pretty subjective question. Usually it all falls down to the observer to analyze every event: motion, actions, and dialogue – in order to rightfully say that this event was the most badass they’ve seen from any person.

Most of the community would choose fight scenes or flashy acts from their favorite anime characters. But this one scene from Hikigaya Hachiman, the main protagonist of Oregairu.

Day 26: Best Anime Fight

Once again, fight scenes are usually restricted to the shonen genre – something that I don’t really watch all too much. For this, I am choosing something much more recent but still probably the best fight scene I have seen thus far.

Day 25: Saddest Anime Death

There are a lot of dead anime characters who had the most depressing and saddest of deaths. We’ve got Kaori from Your Lie in April, Nagisa from Clannad, Menma from AnoHana – to name a few of them. However, I have chosen the most saddest anime death for me personally and I will explain to you why it is as it is – sad.

Day 24: Moment that shocked you the most in any anime

There were a lot of moments which I could say have shocked me. Although most of them were forgettable except for that one scene in anime series called Your Lie in April. It was the most obvious outcome but still got me really surprised. The scene was executed in such a way that you knew it was coming but it still hit you right in the head.

Day 23: Favorite Attack Someone used in an Anime

As I have repeatedly stated before, I don’t really put that much thought – let alone any sort of fondness, for any sort of special move, attack or any weapon and gear used in an anime series. So for today, I am choosing what looked really cool in the series, Kill la Kill.

Day 22: Favorite Weapon, Gear or Armor used in an Anime

Usually the average person would pick the most flashiest, damage-dealing object as their favorite weapon, gear or armor. If it deals a considerable amount of damage to an opponent, it is instantly a fan-favorite. However, as for me, I find the Casting Assistant Device or CAD from the anime series,  Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei.

Day 21: Favorite Goofy Anime Character

Humor is a necessity in every medium to make sure that your target audience is entertained. In anime, the whole thing shouldn’t focus on the nit and grit. There should be some sort of character to set the seriousness level down a notch to accommodate to the viewer’s entertainment.
